about

Manchu Warlord battle cry - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The Warlords was the first project starring Coast and I, but Oldie Han of PA also made several guest appearances. This album came out right when I got my drivers license. Cover shot was taken by Ghetto Frank behind the shopping centre in my hood, where we would congregate, chug an Ale-8-1, and freestyle.

It is chock full of short beat ideas produced mostly by Luke Warm aka Coast. The songs that did come together are mostly random verse ideas and lack a lot of unity. Never the less, Manchu Warlords is one of the rawest hip albums I ever produced. 16 and angry for no reason!

"Clappa Clappa" and "Bre/ak" are the two solid gems from this album. Beleive it or not, this album had a small underground following in the Lexington circuit back in the early 2000s. Bump this when you need some grimy raw lyrics and beats, engineered in a ghetto basement studio!

Peace and love,
Mr. Enigma
