Pebbles Outa Bouldas is a proverb, a motto, an anthem, a theme song for life.

I first imagined this as a lyric on my Viña Sessions EP on the track "Unglued." It was and still is about how God takes the massive boulders in our lives and turns them into pebbles. Simply put, He makes takes the problems/struggles/trials we face and little by little, pebble by pebble, He helps us get through them.

Not only have I seen this in my own life, but I've had a couple literal instances in the last few years. After returning from Chile, I was back home and unemployed. Through God's path, I ended up landing a job in Boulder, CO! While on a pilgrimage to the holy lands while I was still praying and hoping to land this job, I prayed that God would make the uncertain boulder of starting a new chapter in my life obtainable. When I opened my eyes, I was facing the ground, which was completely made up of little pebbles!

Musically I wanted to again push the limits on genres, while focusing even more than ever on making an acoustic guitar the focal instrument of the album. For the first time ever, I tried some more rock and even pop styles, while sticking true to my hip hop roots. There are a few Leftover Salmin joints that I hadn't previously released as well.

No matter what you are facing, remember that God can bring you through it. He can make a pebble out the giant boulder you are facing!
