about

This is a leftover salmin joint that Amigos de Mateo used to perform back in the day. Oppressors will come and go, and though this political piece is already quite outdated, it is a reminder to stand courageously against corruption, hatred, genocide, fear, racism and evil.

The song has transformed over the years into a heavy rock number from the original melancholy hip hop catalyst. Grizvaldo "El Oso" Graham graciously helped me put down this "live" tracked recording. He kills the drums and rhythm guitar, while I locked the bajo and flow. This one used to get the crowds going at our live shows; almost got us kicked out of a restaurant gig!
